As the first Black woman to earn a Ph.D. in Robotics from the University of Michigan, I have a unique experience that inspires and motivates others. I have delivered numerous inspirational speeches, including three during the University of Michigan's 2024 Graduation Week. As the student speaker for the University-wide Commencement, I received a standing ovation from over 70,000 attendees in the largest stadium in North America.
